Guidelines and markings

Post by jsyeager »

I wish the markings on the ruler actually matched where my shapes were, not where the curser was...since I hold the graphic on the handle which is not an accurate placement. I also wish there were guidelines to pull from the rulers to use to line things up. I am trying to do a full page cut but have trouble lining up my boxes.

You can use the X Y position in the Position_size window to put things where you want them. That is where it places the upper left corner of an object. ;)

I think guidelines would be a good addition to scal.
I sometimes draw a big rectangle and use one edge of it to line things up. When I'm done I just delete it.
