Can anyone help?
I am trying to help out a friend who makes svg's. SHe is having this problem. She designs svgs, uses inkscape and makes them into files to sell. She hasnt had a problem until recently. The last few sets she has made have had a few complaints/concerns and we arent sure what happened. THe file appears to be perfectly fine to her and also to me on my scal 2. Some people that get the files have a problem when they open them that the pieces are overlapped or generally out of whack. WHen I open the files in scal 1 (the original) I got the same overlapped wonky files too. If I open it with my scal 2, perfect. THese customers say that they are using scal 2 which I cant figure out why it works fine on my scal 2 and not theirs. Any thoughts?

I know SCAL 1. doesn't like to have anything grouped and will cause the problem you are describing.

Re: Can anyone help?
With Ink .47 and SCAL2 I often have to do a path>combine operation to get the pieces to stay in the right place, especially text. It is possible that this is only necessary in some versions of SCAL2 and not others.

Sounds like the Inkscape is version 47? If so might ask Heather M. I only use .46 with my SCAL 1. and it doesn't do the jumbled up thing.
