With SCAL 2 do you still need to download the Cricut design studio trial version?
Is it the trial version or the Cricut Expression machine that you need to update?

My sister is having problems getting her SCAL 2 to run...it keeps saying that her trial version is over, but she purchased the program. I think she has that part figured out now, but she is running now on a MAC, and I am not sure if that makes any difference???

Did you activate the software by entering the serial on the Craftedge website? That will take it out of trial version status.
