font help

I have on font (Artemon) that is finicky with Inkscape. It worked for a while, then would only work if I would make it default. Now I can't get it to work at all. I did realize that I think it hasn't worked at all since I got Inkscape 0.47. Can anyone advise me what to do? Should I just delete it and download again? Yes, it's TT and yes, it works in Word and yes, it did work before although sometimes yes and sometimes not. Thanks in advance.
