Grad Hat Invite

Post by jsnstarprncss »

My friend (the starving College Student) is graduating this June and I offered to make her invites for her since she barely had money to register for classes this semester! Here's the result (I cannot share the files because they are from SVG Cuts and they are free, just do a search on here for "grad" or go to SVG Cuts' website. Both the black part of the hat and the diploma are free. I just took off the tassel for the Blue and White parts)

This is very pretty. How did you align your text so well?

I do LOVE SVGCuts, they're awesome! I actually use "The Print Shop" to do my text. I basically cut a blank template on the cricut and moved the text boxes on TPS to get them right where they needed to be. Since I printed them off of my printer, I could only fit 5 sets on an 8.5x11 sheet of white. After printing, I put them on the mat and cut them. It was a little more labor intensive than most people are used to but those that are computer savvy will have no problems!
