Group Ungroup

I know this has been discussed before, but I would love to see a group/ungroup feature where we would be able to grab everything in a grouping for deleting or resizing and I'm wondering how many others would use these features?

The idea of being able to draw a rectangle and everything in the rectangle would be selected, then hit the delete button to delete, resize one element and they all resize in proportion, etc. If you want to select more than one item hold the shift or ctrl buttons down while clicking with your mouse, standard commands that are found in other software programs. To start a single button of being "selected" or not "selected" would work as well, just as long as you are able to turn the selection on and off. This would also be a great feature for being able to print. Have the items "selected" be printable ...

I totally agree.

I am SOOO used to having group/ungroup in various programs that it seems odd to me to not have it.
But frankly, at this point, I am SOOOO thrilled with SCAL that I am totally willing to overlook that.

SCAL virtually eliminates my need for other cartridges. In fact, I bought Base Camp and it's sitting unopened.

I agree yes inkscape is wonderful but his could help those that are not proficient with inkscape
