Create a font from my own handwriting?

I know somewhere on this forum a few months ago there was a thread that gave the name of a recommended software to use to create a font from your own handwriting, but I have searched and searched and searched and cannot find it for the life of me now. Can anyway help me or point me in the right direction? Thanks.
