Selecting objects from the Layers Panel

Hi
It would be good if you could click on a layer in the Layers Panel and have the object selected on the Cutting Mat. This would make identifying pieces easy after doing a trace.
Another nice addition would also be a thumbnail of the piece in the Layers Panel, again this would aid in identifying cut pieces.

I would still like to see better layers interaction between Inkscape and SCAL as in this post http://forums.surecutsalot.com/viewtopi ... ers#p45269

We must be due an update soon, if not to keep up with the Jones'

I second selecting layer pieces when you click on a layer. That would be easier/faster than closing each eye and reopening to find the layer you want.

Ooh, me three. I use that in Illustrator and toggling that eye and trying to spot what disappears isn't a good substitute.
