Has anyone tried to make a pop out punch?

I am VERY new to the Cricut and SCAL scene and I've seen alot of the awesome designs people have done. I was just curious if anyone has made or attempted to make any of the Pop Up punches that I've seem online? I've tried my hand at the whole tracing images last night and TRIED to break apart images to put them on separate layers but I am apparently clueless. I'd love to see any pop ups if anyone has them. Thank you!!

I haven't tried to mimic the pop up cards, but I think it could be done pretty easily by tracing or using stroke to path in Inkscape.
I do have a pop up font on my blog, though. A little different but might work good with punch style pop ups in the foreground.

thanks! I'm still new to Cricut and SCAL so I think I'm gonna have to wait on Inkscape. I brain can only handle learning so much
