URGENT! I filled all the SCAL 12x12 mat. Cuts 6x6???

Hi all,

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but cannot see what!

OK, I need to cut A LOT of butterflies, all the same design. So, I copied and pasted in SCAL, grouped them, and they nicely fit all the 12x12 mat.

Then I try to cut it. I put a 12x12 card (not really, just an A4 and a piece to fill the space) and it does recognize it as 12x12.

OK, I press CUT, and it starts cutting but only about 6X6, so most of the card is wasted and only 2 are properly cut. It actually cuts all the butterflies half way to make a 6x6 mat.

I basically need to cut the same design lots of times. What am I doing wrong? I'm wasting a lot of card, and getting only 2 butterflies is silly!

Can anybody help, please? I need to get this going quite urgently, have quite a lot to do and also cards and little boxes

Did you go to the toolbar when you open SCAL and check off the mat size 12x12 under cutter...Sounds like you didn't check it off.....

Hi, yes, it's definitely 12x12, I can see the butterflies filling up a 12x12 mat, and just to make sure I checked it again.

Gonna try again just in case, but if I see a 12x12 matt where I put all the butterflies, then it should be a 12x12, isn't it?

OK, now it's working... third time lucky, as they say!
SCAL seems to be a bit temperamental, but still great.
