Yes, you should do this update since it was released after you purchased SCAL. The new features are really nice. Just download and install 2.006, it installs right over your old version. The download page is here. http://www.craftedge.com/download/download.html

Is anyone else having problems with the download quitting 1/2 way through? I have tried it 3 times now! I even shut down my Kasperskey anti-virus and that didn't make a difference.

Do you know what version you're currently running? I can walk you thru on a Mac how to find out. I'm worthless helping on a pc....it is a lot of guessing on my part.

If you go to the download page of SCAL and click the one you need mac or pc then download it. That's it!

has anyone found a solution to the images coming in HUGE??? My myscrapchick files are HUGE but weren't before the upgrade...

That was a preference....within SCAL--I think. Open SCAL go to preferences and there is a choice of either Inkscape or Adobe.

I think that is what the solution was/is.....
