I also went "hunting" the issue seems to be x11 and so long as Mac needs it to run Ink right now it is a 'no go' There is some talk about Cocoa...but not really much activity.
I did go to iTunes and paid 8.99 for Draw for iPad and it is the best I found so far for playing whilst I'm traveling.
I'll keep in touch.
Here it is, the way to work!!!

Sue,
I'm confused. Are you saying that x11 apps are specifically excluded from Mac apps that can be run from an iPad with logmein and similar apps? What about SCAL? Shouldn't it be able to run remotely since it's Mac native?

Kay, we can probably take this offline since there are so few folks interested. I got the info on X11 and Cocao here

In the meantime I'll use draw from iTunes to play with since I can email it to myself and open in INK. Here's what I've created so far. I'll PM you when I've had more experience with DRAW. I saved as an .svg even tho I could save a .jpg. It's only been an hour or two since I started to play. I'll attempt to attach to a forum message as a .jpg tomorrow. I do have to participate in dinner prep sometime.

Would love more details on this from the Professor. I'm suspecting that you would need an actual computer within communications distance which kind of eliminates this for most of the times/places I would want to use the iPad. Too much competition for it at home... much simpler to just use the laptop and let the other three fight over the iPad.

Re: Here it is, the way to work!!!
I was going to add that the Professor may also be interested since he is doing all sorts of things to run on his Mac.
Happy to hear that some WIN users are also interested.

Then let me ask Professor Looney... Can you not use LogMeIn or something similar to run SCAL from your Mac to your iPad? I guess I am not understanding why you are limited to the Windows version.

What happened to the Prof? Anyway, I'd be really interested in scal on the iPad. It's mine, all mine (sorry Heather) so no ones gonna be using it but me!
