Please Help Me!! edges are jagged!

Post by lcerdas »

My cricut expression seems to be making tiny little cuts instead of a smooth, seamless cut. So I have a jagged edge on everything and it catches on the blade. Anyone know what to do? All my projects suck! All these beautiful sweeping curves look like seareted edges. Pleeeease advise.

I'm glad you solved your problem. :) I was going to suggest to check for bits of paper stuck to the blade. That happened to me a couple of times and ruined some nice paper. :x

It is explained well, here.

I cut tin foil to sharpen my manual cutter, also. Just cut some tin foil instead of paper, a number of time. I also use goo gone to get the sticky washed off the blade edge, from cutting papers that are already glued...some always gets on it.
