Adobe Illustrator ?

My school is sending me to a week of training on Illustrator. Will that be of any help in using SCAL? I haven't had the time to try Inkscape. Thanks, zellko

Yes! You can export your designs from AI as SVG, and cut them in SCAL.

It is an awesome program I do all my designing in it. It does something Ink won't do, and Ink does things AI won't do. Both are awesome programs. But I prefer AI. I love the manual trace, the layers features, you name it. You are super lucky

You will be able to do so much with Illustrator, fantastic programme and fantastic opportunity to learn it properly rather than being self taught - enjoy the course
