Sweetness is right. The tutorials really helped me. Also picked up a couple of books on Inkscape as i seem to do better when reading and doing go hand in hand. Heather M has some tutorials that I printed out. The site is http://imagesbyheatherm.wordpress.com/m ... tutorials/

And last but not least the members of this forum have been a tremendous help. I think I only came on board in Dec. and thought I'd never figure it out, but once it clicked my confidence soared (and I still have a lot to learn).

I do think, however, since I had NO luck with this design that an easier one would be better to gain confidence with :P
This one is HARD to do :(

Well I know it wasn't an easy one. But if it was easy then family wouldn't want it right? LOL I have been having a wild year. Daughter got married, made her wedding dress, 3 bridesmaids, tissue paper flowers, boxes for truffles, and a ring bear. I thought it would calm down and then ball season started! Next our daughter is moving to Arizona to go to school........... I don't know what will happen next! Thank you for all your help!!! I was learning and have forgotten so I will have to start over!

You HAVE been busy!!! I would love to see the tissue paper flowers...I bet they were wonderful. All the sewing just amazes me.
I sew often, but don't think I could ever do all the elegant dresses. Congrats on all of your accomplishments.
