Multi-cut function

Post by AshleyNC »

I have SCAL 2 and an original Cricut. I noticed there's an option to select multi-cut on the SCAL menu. Does this only work on the newer models of Cricut, or will the settings on SCAL override the fact that my machine wasn't designed with the multi-cut feature?

Thanks!

I don't know but I can say that it is the computer telling the cricut what to do
I don't believe it would hurt anything to try it, if it works this is a good thing.

If it doesn't let it cut then instead of hitting unload hit the load button and send it back through to cut again it should send it back on the very same path and you can get your multi cut that way

The multi cut function works with any of the cricut.. The settings in SCAL have nothing to do with settings on your cricut..
Thanks for updating and letting us all know. I'm sure this will be useful information for somebody else out there wondering.

OK , Now I am real confused. She must have edited that because that is not the way the question was when I answered and the edit has me scratchin my head.

But the real deal is it worked and that is a good thing

It's the weirdest thing- I didn't edit it! I just edited it to remove that sentence so I didn't look like a crazy person answering my own question.

But, the answer seems to be that the computer is in charge, not the machine. So I'm excited about that!

Thanks!
