Mac OSX 10.5.8 won't run SCAL 2, HELP!

Post by luvs2scrap »

I just bought and loaded the SCAL 2 onto my Mac OSX 10.5.8. When I open the folder I see that the SCAL icon has a circle with a diagonal line through it. When I try to click on that icon I get the message: "You can't open the application "Sure Cuts A Lot 2" because it is not supported on this architecture." I have uninstalled it a couple of times (no help), I've updated my computer then reinstalled it (didn't help either). I sent a message to support but I guess that will take a few days. My mac is NOT an Intel based one, is that the problem?? Can anyone offer any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi, I had exactly the same problem with SCAL2 - tried everything but nothing worked. As I had bought it from Craft Edge, I contacted them & they refunded my money, which I thought was terrific.
SCAL 1 had performed perfectly , so I stuck with that. I have since got an Intel Mac & SCAL2 is working well.

I am having the same problem with the same error message "You can't open the application because it is not supported on this architecture." Is it just not going to work on version 10.5.8 or has someone figured out what to do?? I have never used SCAL before so this is my first time trying to install.

You need to contact CraftEdge support directly..they are the BEST at figuring this
