Meditating Buddha

Post by CollegeScraps »

Does anyone have a SVG of a Buddha, or willing to make one? I am working on an album of the temples I visited while in Japan, but have had no luck with finding a buddha...... And it is beyond my skill I am afraid!

If you go to this site, there is a coloring book page of a buddha and a temple that you might be able to use.

Will this work, or do you want something with detail?

I am looking for a little more detail. Maybe with the hair, arms, legs, and the garb.

Like this (without all the wrinkle detail of course)

Or this

Making the robe is tough! I have a couple of options in this file for you depending on how experienced you are with SCAL. The robe is in 3 variations:

*one you can "break apart" and paper piece onto the mat
*one is the robe without the fold lines for you to draw in by hand
*and one is just the fold lines you use gel pens to draw on the robe.

If you have more questions you can PM me.

Wow! Beautiful job. I personally like the silhouette design but the other two are so detailed and nice. It must've been very hard to convert all of that.

I have a hard time with the conversion process. I hate the zillions of nodes it leaves, and it is so imprecise. Instead I make a blob and manipulate the nodes where I want them.
