Help with special memorial tile

Post by frogteacher »

You may have read or heard about the terrible train derailment in SC that took the life of a six year old boy. This was my Pastor's son and I would like to make some things for them using his son's picture. Can someone please help convert this image for me? I have SCAL2. TIA

First of all, I am so terribly sorry to hear of this tragic news. I send my deepest condolences to the family. I wish I could've converted this file for you and I have spent the last half hour trying Unfortunately, I was not able to produce a decent likeness of this sweet little boy. I am so sorry. I hope someone comes along who can help you out.

I didn't have much time to spend on it and I am not sure if it right, I feel like it doesn't look enough like him

I am hoping to find time tomorrow to try again

Thanks everyone for your help! I haven't done this before so don't know anything about it. Does it not look enough like him because the picture isn't clear enough?o, I can ask for a better picture.

You have to delete a lot of nodes and I am afraid I deleted to many of the ones I should have kept. It is a bit of a time taking chore to get it right. If there is an easier way I don't know how to do it. But I will do my best to try again Monday when I have quiet

Maybe a clearer pic or two would help produce a clearer trace. Can you post a couple? I will certainly give it my best shot.

Again, thanks everyone! I am going to cut it and see what happens. I will post pictures of the finished product. I have sent a request to a family friend for a clear picture. It may be a day or two though.
