My baby Cricut died Sunday and I purchased a Cricut Expressions and should receive it by Friday. Is there anything I need to do special to install my new Cricut? I will be using the same computer so do I need to install the USB again? Also, do I need design studio to run it?
Thanks
Katie

it should be ready to go as many of the new expressions have version 2.35 firmware in them.gluestick wrote:My baby Cricut died Sunday and I purchased a Cricut Expressions and should receive it by Friday. You do not need design studio, unless you want it. If you have SCAL you definitely don't need design studio!

If you do find you need to update, there is a link now under the "help" drop down in SCAL that says 'update driver'. I would think that would get it for you.

You definitely don't need Design Studio. It is a clunky program and hard to figure out. It doesn't work on Mac's either

Re: Baby Cricut Died
just get the trial version of DS. You need it to work with SCAL
SCAL 2 (cricut), SCAL 3 (Black Cat 15"), Windows 10
