clipart to SCAL2

okay I am missing it I know but can someone point me the right way to convert a clipart any not just 1 color to a scal or svg file please an easy way do I have to use inkscape or is there an easier way

Download clip art to your computer desktop or file and open scal2 and go to File Trace Image or the square with the grass and tree...click

Browse and find the file and click to open and play with changing the
Brightness
Smooth
Despeckle

Try
90
75
20

and then fool and change and preview till it looks good and hit ok

There you have it...now go to File and Export to your desktop and on your desktop it will now be saved as an .svg

If you want to save as a scal .scut file, go to File and Save as, and give it a name and the push save.

SCAL traces by brightness, not by color, so you will have better luck in Inkscape unless your colors are high contrast.

thanks guys, well I was able to do a little based on the details you both gave but I chose a graphic from here it is the tweety but the trace option does little?

There are several Tweeties on this website. http://vector-cartoons.com/search/searc ... ery=tweety If you download the wmf format it is already a vector and you can simply open it in Inkscape and save as an svg.
