Tiling Tool

Post by mwinkis »

I love, love, love my SCAL, but I am thinking I am going to have to break down and buy MTC only because of the tiling feature that autmatically breaks a file into smaller pieces or tiles to be pieced together to cut designs larger than the 12 x 24 mat. Can we have that is SCAL. Oh please!! :-)

Yes, that would be a nice tool to have in our SCAL.

Yes it would be great so I could put a great big sign in my window that says "PLEASE NO SOLICITORS" so then they don't have to get practically at my front step to read the sign I already have..LOL. and the sad part is?? I already have it in big enough bold printing..

Funny you mentioned solicitors. I just got a call from a telemarketer who went on about making sure everyone could afford an automobile. I interrupted him and said "I am on the 'do not call' list for telemarketers and I could report you right now, and you could end up with a HUGE fine for calling me- NOW TAKE MY NUMBER OFF YOUR LIST". haha, he stuttered and stammered a quick apology and hung up! The 'do not call' list has worked quite well for over a year now but it seems the telemarketers and slowly creeping back in. I've heard a few of them have been given hefty fines. Maybe its time to start handing out a lot more.

I'm on that list as well but apparentlly the fines don't apply to telemarketers calling from out of country.. :(

Here in the US, it doesn't apply to political calls. I get at least one a week, and at election time, I get hundreds. I had to laugh when you said they were calling about everyone having an "automobile". Sounds a little 1938. We have TV ads running all the time about cell phones for people on welfare... 250 free minutes a month, tell your friends and neighbors! Sheesh...
