Prom Night 2008

Post by AnointedHands »

When I saw atthesea's Abstract design, I had to have it and I knew just what I was going to do with it. I modified it just a tad to get what I wanted.

My youngest son's prom photos in the abstract design.

Thank you atthesea

That's a great idea and those are great pictures of your son (He looks about as enthused as my oldest did when I took pictures of him in his Prom attire). I have 3 sons and they are all grown. I can remember the Pom's they went to and the girls they took. Such memories. My oldest son only went to his Senior Prom and he took a foreign exchange student from Sweden. By the way atthesea I cut the castle out.. I will have try and to post a pic when I have made a card with it. The little windows I cut because I couldn't get them removed.. it worked out because they just popped out and still look like 2 little windows just no "leadding". Thanks.

If you want, I can work on that door for the castle so that it is an opening and the doors open. I was trying to do that and had to get back to work (yes, I have to work sometimes) so I just slapped in the cut for a door and posted. If you use a new door, all you have to do is cut an opening, I would use a craft knife, and then glue the new cut over it. Let me know. I can add the edge so it will be the card if you need it...or did you plan to glue the castle to the card?

I made the card... for the opening in the door and the big window I put a sliver ovelay.. like the door was open.. I didn't do the neatest job but can always fix things.. The picture of the card is in the thread with the file.. Thank You again.
