have text in a circle w/o being upside down :(

I am trying to make a charger plate and the text at the bottom is upside down. I spent most of the evening looking at tutorials since I am a newbie. After posting a question on one of the forums I find I have to go outside SCAL2 to do it

No, you don't need to go outside of SCAL to do this. Select the circle, then use Path/Reverse path. You will need two circles if you want the text at the top to go in the opposite direction.
