My try at the baby book

Post by chodges »

Thanks to User bands321 for posting a SVG file of this baby book. It was so easy to put together I am going to have to make LOTS of these!

I have to say thank you too!! Both of you, one for the file and one for getting me to try cutting it out!

Can you tell me what you used for your base? I used Stampin Up cardstock. I haven't embellished/decorated anything yet, just cut it.

Thanks again. It is a wonderful file! Without SCAL I would never have been able to do this :)

I know this is a bit rude, but I am wondering if there is any chance anyone can make the same file but with school as the words?
My DD just started school 4 weeks ago and my friends daughter starts in 5 weeks and I would love to do albums like this for both of them. Yes, I am challenged when it comes to making this kind of file!

For my book I think I used Close to my heart paper. I would just make sure that you used something pretty thick.

As for the school book, I think that would be cute. I am still new with this so if I do come up with something I will let you know!

Hi Christine

I am still working on the BABY book. Two nights work and still going, but so far I am happy with it. Thank you again, for your inspiration.

As for the SCHOOL one, if you figure out how to do it, I would love the file. Just PM me. thank you :)

Sorry it took me so long to reply.

My middle one just graduated from Kindergarten and my oldest from High School....I have been a busy mom!

I am glad you like it. I just recently did a BABY word book that I bought at Archiver's and realized after that it would probably be easy to do in SCAL...so I did it :)

I will try the SCHOOL book, now. Once it's finished, I will post it.

Thanks again everyone,
Shawn
