WELDING New Need HELP !!!!!!! I downloaded SCAL, now I'm playing around trying to WELD a word. I'm following the directions exactly and have used CDS, BUT my word won't weld, what am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated. thanks Kz

click on each letter left to right and use the nudge arrows to move it so that it slightly overlaps its neighbor. Click on the word so that the whole word is active and check the Weld checkbox in the Properties window. Click on the magnifying glass icon to see what the letters would look like cut. The red lines are the cut lines. If the letters do not appear to be welded, maybe you don't have them overlapping enough, or maybe the checkbox is not checked for the word. HTH
