Sweetest Handbag

Post by Tingha Treasures »

In my Internet travels I came across this website with some lovely "different" templates and amonst them was this sweet handbag. Very easy to convert to a svg and could be resized fairly big. Mine pictured is 4"x4"

I used double sided card called Orange Creamsicle from Pink Martini Designs I inked the edges added a Joy rubon, red ribbon and buckle on the strap,a double flower with brad and it closes with a small velcro dot.

The hardest thing is the folding to get the inside right but its so sweet its well worth the effort. Suggest using plain paper for the first attempt if you are unsure.

Really cute. I like that you used double side card stock.

That is adorable! You did a great job on that one. Now I'm off to download the template.

Thanks for the comments I think double sided is the way to go but you could do a coloured card inside.

Hope it inspires more to use Inkscape if you can master the basics you can do anything!

Hi! Can someone please email this purse as an svg? I would really appreciate it. No matter what I try I can not ge anything that is not already an svg to do anything. I have read all the posts and watched all the Tutorials. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. This purse is so cute. Thank You to Tingha for posting it.

I don't use inkscape so a svg file would be wonderful!

Would there by anyone who is kind enough to convert this to an svg file for those of use who cannot understand Inkscape. My computer cannot accomodate Inkscape (it keeps closing down) and the website will not allow us to save it. I would greatly appreciate anyone's generosity of skill and time.

I gave it a try. I left the dash marks in but you can delete them. I viewed it in SCAL and it looked ok but since my Cricut is packed away I wasn't able to cut it.
