Freehand drawing tool

Post by grafxarts »

Can we get a freehand drawing tool soon? Being limited to only what we create somewhere else, especially for simple things, is kind of drag.

But then again, does your other program allow you to cut on the Cricut?

I'm of the opposite opinion. I want SCAL to be a really good CUTTING tool. There are lots of very good DRAWING tools. Scaling, positioning, aligning, those are good areas for SCAL to cover, but not actually drawing.

I just use SCAL for cutting. I do very little design and no tracing with the program itself. I am sure it does a good job at the other task but programs such as INK gives me so much more flexibility.

I do love the enhancements Todd has made for cutting, especially using layers so you can cut separate colors even with your whole design open.
