Scrolling through the fonts...
Scrolling through the fonts...
I discovered something tonight in SCAL 2. I typed in some text and then highlighted the font box, without realizing it, I rolled my wheel on my mouse and all the text changed to the different fonts as I scrolled. You may have figured this out already, but I thought it was pretty cool.

I hadn't figured it out but I love it. I find it hard to decide which font to use when they are so small. Thanks Todd!

Thanks too Tod, I didn't know this & often get frustrated, wish SCAL had the text box the same as Make the Cut has, I find it's just too small, but this hint will help alot.

Try using a stand alone font manager. There are several good ones for free download online.

I don't say much on here. I'm so green behind the ears and am just learning so much from everyone.
But this is wonderful. It has been a pain trying to figure out what the fonts really look like.
Thanks to everyone for sharing.

Re: Scrolling through the fonts...
This is an awesome tip, Todd Unfortunately it does not work on a Mac, even if you have a scroll wheel
I usually type my phrase into Font Book and pick my font from there first, then go to SCAL and change the font.
