Help with vine

Post by digitaldane »

I bought the personal cutter a few weeks back - HAHA, my new Expression arrived today, couldn't help myself. I wanted it because it can do the larger cuts. I am trying to find a vine with little flowers or berries or something that I can put up between two doors. I can't find anything that can be connected to make it look like 1 long vine. I have 12x12 mat and I have a 12x24 mat but no vinyl for it yet. So I am stuck with 12 x 12 vinyl. Does anyone have a simple vine they could share? I'd greatly appreciate it.

There are a couple leaf/vine files here:

Another good option is to use some of the basic shapes in SCAl and union them together to make what you want. The swirls are great for that!!

Good luck.

I have a few questions since it makes a difference on how the file is made.

In your minds eye is this all one piece, in one color or do you see the branch one color, the leaves another color and the berries a different color?

how wide is the space you want to fill?

do you see curly cues and flourishes as well, more the victorian look?

If you can answer these questions then someone will surely make you one.
