I probably did this the hard way but here's what i did

1. type the name out in word, using word art and using the arch style
2. save it as a pdf
3. change pdf to jpeg (fund online doing a google search of change pdf to jpeg)
4. import jpeg to inkscape, trace, save as svg
5. find half circle jpeg online, save as jpeg and re do step 4
6. import both to SCAL2 and place name in half circle
I had to stretch the letters to meet the half circle...a bit time consuming
hope that helps
if anyone knows shortcuts i woulld love to hear them as I'm sure this is the long way!
