upgraded

Post by Jean T »

I upgraded my cricut, and my design studio. Now the scal won't work with the upgrade. It is version 2.029. I finally uninstalled it and did the version 1.0 which works but I lose all the goodies that come in scal 2. Can someone help me? I have contacted craftedge but they never got back to me with a solution for my problem.

Right, Craft Edge typically doesn't respond to posts on the forum. If you want an answer from Craft Edge you need to e-mail them. It would also help if you include your computer OS in either your location or signature settings. See this post for more info on how to do this. http://forums.surecutsalot.com/viewtopi ... =6&t=13088

Also, just telling us it won't work doesn't really give us any idea of what might be wrong. Exactly what happens?

One thing to try since it is a new install of SCAL2 is to go to Edit/Preferences-Cutter tab and de-select the Remember Cricut model and firmware. Try to cut something and select the correct machine/firmware combo. If it cuts and you only have one machine you can go back to the preferences and select the Remember option again so you can go directly to cutting without going through the machine/firmware window again.
