I downloaded the newer version of the SCAL program and now I cannot get it installed. It says that an "error occurred while trying to replace the existing file..."delete file failed, code 32. Process cannot access the file because it's being used by another process.
I have restarted my computer thinking that would clear the other process...but it still comes back with the same message. I don't know what to do...this program was given to me by my late Brother...I don't know when he purchased it but I have been using it for over a year. Anyone know what I can do to get this working?

Re: download new version problem
I tried that several...and I mean several...times. It still hangs up in the same place. I sent a message to Craft Edge to see what I can do. Thank you for responding.

I would manually delete the existing SCAL install folder.
You may need to re-enter your license key so have that handy.

What version of SCAL do you have on your computer? If it's SCAL1 the older version, you would need to pay a fee to upgrade to the latest SCAL2 version. Most vendors sell the upgrade for $25 to $29 depending on who you get it from.
If it's SCAL2 that's on your computer, then the updates are free and Craftedge should be able to help you get the problem fixed.
