converting files

can i convert jpg etc to svg in the SCAL? and if so how do i do that.. if i have found an image and i want to convert it to cut on the cricut .. thanks

Using a jpeg all you have to do is open up scal and using either the file menu or the trace button(above you virtual mat) select trace image, when the window pops up select browse and find the file on your computer and select it.
