2.021 update

Post by judyjo »

Has anyone used the 2.021 update yet? I downloaded it yesterday, but haven't tried it yet? It has some very useful features.

Where are you finding it? I went to downloads an it wasn't there.

TIA

I used it on my Mac this morning. The first time I tried to cut with it, it crashed. But since then it's been working fine.

I'm using it. I do have to be mindful of memory and not have too many other apps and browsers open at the same time.

I have noticed that some of my more obscure fonts are now coming up "blank" but there are lots of other ones that are similar so I'm fine.

Lots of really nice new features.

I played around with it a little last night and noticed that it didn't crash like the previous recent versions were doing, so that is a great plus for me.

I have down loaded it but not installed it yet. What happens if I don't get along with it? How hard is it to get the older version back? What are some of the Upgrades to it?
Did they get the center point fixed? Can you move stuff Just by grabbing anywhere on the object?
I so want to try and I am so CHICKEN just yet

Thanks to all who responded. I just tried some things a few minutes ago and did not have any problems. You can drag objects by grabbing anywhere but I didn't check out the center point thing. I am very happy with the changes so far. To answer Butterfly.......you can get the older version from Craftedge if you are not happy with the new one. If you look in the download area it is there.

I didn't see it either. Also, I'm wondering how you go from 2.012 to 2.021. I never even got 2.013 since it was pulled so fast.
