Is the rocking horse a dingbat? If you don't convert the dingbat in Inkscape, we won't be able to use it unless we have the dingbat installed on our computer.
All I get is an n which is probably the letter you typed to get the rocking horse.

Oops... my bad.
I guess I didn't realize that would do that. Thanks for the info! Still learning ALOT here

You can convert it to an .sgv file and everyone can use it whether they have the font installed or not. After you convert it, import the .svg file into SCAL and save. We should be able to see it then.
Open Inkscape
To change the font, click on the T on the Main Menu, choose the dingbat set, click on Set as default, Apply, Close
On the main screen, click on the A (near the bottom of the icons on the left), click your letter. Select with the top icon, Path>Object to Path; Path>Union.
