Re: Here are my first 2 projects using vinyl
Thanks to you all again for the really nice comments. This was the first time I have uploaded a project after being on the boards for a while. The font is Loki Coca Cola font and I got it from SimplyTheBestFonts.net. I really didn't "measure" the fan blade. I just kind of eyeballed it and cut the font out of paper. I use heavyweight construction type paper first (so as not to waste my vinyl........I'm not good with numbers and measuring
) then placed it on the fan blade to see how it looked. I got lucky my first time around. It fit perfectly so then I cut it out of the vinyl. In order to get it placed straight, I used removeable tape (like painters tape) on the blade as a guide and then put the words down that way. It took me a month of Sundays but I think it turned out pretty good if I do say so myself
. Now she has me doing the words smaller to put on two decorative plates, one cut out in white vinyl and one in red. Next we are going to do the Coca Cola song on her wall. I can't wait to do that! It's been fun though I have to admit! I have a list of ideas I put in a notebook so I don't forget! And Christmas is coming too!
Thanks to you all again

Oh MY!!!! I love that fan. It's so awesome. I never could come up with an idea like that. I hate my brown fan, wonder if I could paint it and do some writings on mine. Now to come up with a saying!!!! HMMMMM
