Keyboard short cuts for ZOOM and ability to GRAB any part .

e.g. cntrl + for zoom in
Cntrl - for zoom out.

trying to delete small items from a pattern is so long winded without short cuts.

Plus ability to grab the image to drag it onto the mat if the ONE grab handle is out of sight.
Am I expecting too much. sorry
I can't use inkscape on my MAC at present it is not behaving so I only have scal.

If Ink is not working properly and it used to try downloading an updated version of X11 and may xquartz. Worked for me when I went to 0.47, and or Snow Leopard

I only downloaded it to try to use it with SCAL so it never worked properly , I could only ever see a small oblong on my screen and was not able ti use it at all.
I will try the updates you suggested.

ok seems I can use INKScape after the new download.
BUT it is very long winded. not as user friendly as Serif software Drawplus ( the older versions are now free to download) so I might resort to that and use a memory stick to transport files between the XP and the MAc laptops.
