I had a lot of 1" letters to do today and I didn't want to put them through the xyron sticker maker because they get caught and wrinkle. I tried those glue bottles but had glue all over. So out came the contact paper. Cut my letters just fine, used an exacto knife to separate them from the backing and did a fine job.
Sometimes I use a glue stick. I stand it upright and press the letters into the stick and with tweezers transfer to my design. Tweezers are a GOOD THING you know.
Of course this is not good for scrapbooking but works fine for cards.
Just thought I'd share.

I make posters with big titles for my church and school groups and think using this tip would make my life a whole lot easier! Thanks for sharing. Now I won't have to worry about glueing the letters down.
