scal 2 no 13 version is this version unstable?

I can't do a thing on 2.012 at least on 2.013 I was still able to do things as long as I saved along the way so when it froze up I could shut the program down and reopen with my work saved. This way takes a lot of time but at least I can do things. I hope they get all the bugs worked out soon.

I am confused? I do not use my scal very often due to time but the last download I have is 2.013 now insted of 2.014 we went to 2.013 why?
