Hi Kay- I am not sure about roll vinyl. It does cut vinyl but I guess my brain is not wrapping around roll vinyl. Sandy J is right you can cut longer than 24 inches.

Pens work great in this machine. They don't jiggle at all. You can use Copics and it's smooth.
