Why when I am cutting out different fonts, if I change my style from normal to say shadow rounded, I loose some of my letters? There are some fonts that I like, but I need to cut them out a little thicker. Example: In curlz, I want to type Pajama Time, however, when I type them out in normal that then hit shadow rounded, I loose the T in "time"...all I get is the top part of the "T".
My updates are all current....
Thanks!

I've had that problem too and I do not have the answer to this. It does suck to be missing letters when I try using the shadow feature.

Re: Can Someone Tell Me...
Wow, that is weird. I tried to break apart the letters and do a union etc., but nothing seems to work.
Here is an SVG of the words Pajama Time in Curlz that does work with the Shadow option.

I get that issue as well. I just move on to a different font. LOL
Glad Todd was able to help you.

I don't know if it's just one font but it does it to me when I'm working in a path. I try to move the letters and the o's in the b don't follow the letters. I never thought about trying another font.

I have had this problem too. I figured it was a flaw in the font. I try a different font. Some work. Some don't.

This is actually a flaw in the upgrades of SCAL. In SCAL 1, we hardly ever had this issue (as a matter of fact, many fonts still work in SCAL1 that won't work in SCAL 2 now. I've sent a few to Todd but haven't heard back from then since I sent them the fonts that didn't work.) However, since the upgrades, this is really common. I have found this issue in more fonts than not. If you try to adjust your fonts manually by a couple of degrees, sometimes you can get the shadow feature to work at some point So try moving the number up or down slowly until you find one that eventually works. Usually if I do it manually, I can find something that works.
To be honest, this is the number one reason I just bought MTC. I like both programs for different things, but the shadow issue drove me crazy in SCAL. On many SVGs, SCUTS, and even a lot of the shapes within SCAL 2 program itself, you will find the shadow feature does not work. It makes things go all wonky...if that's a word! LOL... Good luck! I hope the smaller increments helps you find one that works.
