Vista is a pretty unstable operating system. There's a lot of bugs in the software and it seems like everytime Microsoft tries to fix the security issues, Vista gets worse.suzsh wrote:Thank you so much for the deactivation tip! I have it working now, and while Vista doesn't like the graphics conflict, the program is working! Why can't this info be public knowledge - or maybe it is and I really missed it on the website?
Thank you again!
I think that it why switching the compatibility modes to XP Service Pack 2 fixes a lot of the issues when using SCAL2.
I recently got a Toshiba laptop with Windows 7 and I haven't had the problems that happened with my Sony Vaio laptop running on Vista. At least once a day my Sony would either lock up or crash when using IE8. And Vista didn't like my scanner, printer or camera. I constantly had errors with two all in one printers on the Vista machine but no problems at all using them on the Win 7 laptop.
