To really answer your question--no your can't do this with SCAL or MTC. The only program your can cut from is CDS-Cricut Design Studio.
And not to leave you misinformed MTC does illegally copy CDS SVG, it does allow you to back-up the carts that you already own and you will still need CDS.
I will agree with Deloris on this point, until this issue is resolved, this subjects discussion end
