scal 2.0

I have scal version 1.o and I'm thinking about getting scal 2.o, my question is does scal 2.0 have to be on the same computer as scal 1.0 to work or can I have scal 2.0 on my laptop and scal 1.0 on my desktop? I tried to transfer scal 1.0 from my old laptop to my new laptop and I could'nt do it so I gave up on that. help please

You can have both on your computer - many of us kept SCAL1 around for just in case, and to make share files for those with SCAL1. So it's not an 'either or' situation.

You get 2 installs with each program, so you can have it on a desktop and a laptop computer.
