Jpeg to SVG, need help
Jpeg to SVG, need help
I am trying to create a paper layering of a school logo that is in jpeg. When I converted it to SVG in Sure Cuts A Lot I did not get the whole picture. I want to break it apart and create the logo in the colors on the picture. Can anyone help?

I am very new at this and am confused. Is it not possible to do what I am asking. I'm getting viewers, but no responses.

Alyce,
I have a blog post that will help you find the right tutorial. You will need Inkscape as SCAL can not trace by color, only by brightness. You are also going to need a bigger image. The one you posted is going to be too small to work with.

Thanks, Kay
I am going to have to find a larger image. When I enlarged this one it was very fuzzy. I also downloaded Inkscape. Quite a program. Spent a whole day, playing around and trying to learn how to use it. Thanks again.
