Just Bought SCAL- Frustrated

Well I have uninstalled several times. I reinstalled. It keeps remembering my serial number so it won't let me try and reactivate it. I didn't activate it on the site I did it right in the program. It shows all of the symbols from th fonts, etc. I installed it on my husband's computer. I just installed the trial and they don't open on his pc either. I didn't use the activation code on his though it is just the trial version.

I installed an older version of SCAL on my pc and the SVG's open fine. I did send an e-mail last night. I received one response and responded back to them and then nothing all day today. I'm annoyed that I have a $70 piece of software that is useless.

SCAL is programmed to allow two installations then will stop working until you have Craftedge change the info in their computer to allow additional installations. From your post it appears you have uninstalled and installed SCAL a number of times so I'm guessing that might be why the older trial version works but the new install won't.

I had a problem with installation and activation when I tried to install SCAL on a second computer. (I had already installed the program twice on my new computer due to a problem with the first installation failing.) Craftedge reset their computer and I reinstalled on my second computer and the activation process worked fine that time.

When I ordered I bought the download and the CD. I just got the CD today and it is version 2.07 so I installed it and my svg's work. I am not updating until it is fixed and that seems will take awhile since I don't get any responses during the day from Craftedge and only one at 10:30 at night and no offer to discuss things over the phone. Very disappointed in the customer service piece of fixing this problem.
