New to Scal 2 question

Post by cazann »

Okay so at long last i'm going to take the plunge and ugrade from Scal 1 top Scal 2, and i've downloaded the trial, but when i open it, i get a huge, and i mean huge mat with the pattern on, even though the mat size says it's 12x6,
It's so bad that i can't even make out what the file is that i've inported,
Anyone got any idea, please, i'm still scared stiff on going away from Scal 1. okay i'm a coward but i have a feeling it will make my life a bit easier, any help will be greatly appreciated,
Thanks Carole

If you look at the took bar there with be a magnifying glass with a plus sign and minus.. Just click on the minus sign one and on the mat and it will reduce the size of the page.. :D

Hey Caz, haven't heard from you in a while. :) I usually use the View/Fit to window option to make the mat smaller.

Thanks to both of you for your replies, hey Heather, no. i've been doing other things, in fact i got a Robo for Christmas and have been playing with that, it seems i can cut out smaller lace designs and more intricate designd that the Expression doesn't like doing, but now's the time to play with my 'E', at some point i really should do some housework, but hey life's too short to worry about dust,
