Gatefold card I made today.

Post by Lola »

Here is another attempt at a card. I bought the mini gels at staples and also bought the grips to put on it.. had to double it over on it to make it finally hold firm.
The print on it could be better but since its been a long day decided to go with it. Decided that high pressure and a high speed it writes better.

I used a ice cream stick . There was a wonderful tip left on here bout that.. It works beautifully, just lay it under where your housing would go and put your pen in and lower it til it touches the stick tighten your holder back in place.. Make sure the pen is snug.. not wobbly. I ended up testing out on a piece of paper after I had finished this card and saw that I wasn't real satisfied. High speed high pressure made things look smooth. If anyone has any other files like those from the UK site I would love to have some if your sharing.

Lovely!!! Feel silly to ask... so you can use markers in your cricut? I would like to use something like sakura gelly pens, can that be done? Or maybe something gluey to add foil or glitter???

Still lots to learn!!!

Cheers
