I want to print on vinyl that won't wash off

I have a circuit expression. Is there any permnant/water proof markers or ink that will work with this so I can write rather than cut for a sign to be used outside?

You can use sharpies to write and it will be permanent on vinyl, but remember that the Cricut is only going to draw the outline of the letter. That's why most people just cut the letters from vinyl.

the only thing about the sharpie is it won't fit into the machine. I just want the outline so that would be great. I guess I need to do some more looking at sharpies. thanks for the advice!!

There are small sharpies you can use that are about the same size as the Cricut markers.

Yes, I use the mini Sharpies with a gel grip to make it fit. Sorry I wasn't clear. Here's a pic

Firstcut that is so awesome.. I didn't realize you could get sharpies that would fit the machine.. Of course being in Canada we probably don't have them..lol

Got the gel grips at Walmart. If you can't find the short ones, cut a long one in half. The nice thing is you can leave them on and roll them back on themselves a little and get the cap back on.

On a side note/question? Is there a clear vinyl that you can print a design on from your printer. I'd like to print some patterns on vinyl then cut designs out on the cricut. I hope that makes sense.
